A brief timeline

1992–1998
Apprenticeship as an electronics technician, technical vocational baccalaureate and a year of electrical engineering studies.
1998–2013
Diploma in telecommunications engineering (HF) and first years in the field: network analyst, application developer in banking, then IT support and application support.
2013–2017
Java developer and consultant, mainly in finance and public transport: full-stack development with Spring MVC, REST services and an early version of React on the frontend. Professional Scrum Master I.
2018–2021
Senior application developer: Java EE, Spring Boot, JSF and PrimeFaces on the frontend, Docker and CI/CD for clients from various industries. Oracle certifications OCA and OCP.
2021–2024
Web infrastructure, firewall and certificates, low-code with Mendix, plus digital processes, EDI and cloud services in logistics.
2024–2025
Application developer at a university: Angular frontend focused on usability and accessibility.
2026
My own platform on a VPS, built in stages and documented on this blog. During the swimming season, working as a lifeguard. More in the Blog, the Paths and the Projects.
